Idyllically situated in Blekendorf, not far from the Baltic Sea coast, is a very special destination for the whole family: Filippo's adventure garden. This family-run garden combines nature, play and education to create a fantastic experience for visitors of all ages. As soon as you enter the garden, you are greeted by colorful and fragrant, lovingly laid out flowerbeds. The tour continues into the themed gardens, where each garden area is dedicated to a specific theme; there is something for all the senses to discover here. This is also the case in the fruit paradise, where a variety of different fruits and vegetables grow - particularly exciting for children, as they can find out where their food comes from. In keeping with the motto "We let freshness grow", strawberries, raspberries, currants, gooseberries, cherries, apples and plums can be picked and enjoyed here, depending on the season. Fresh salads, herbs and more also make self-picking a great experience for children and adults alike.
Filippo's adventure garden is a real paradise, especially for the youngest visitors. The extensive grounds include a water playground and a play pond with a raft, a play tower and a zip wire, an XXL bouncy cushion and a sand play area - children can romp, play and let their imaginations run wild to their heart's content, whether as fearless raft pirates, aerial acrobats on the giant trampoline or go-kart racers. The farm animals such as rabbits, sheep, goats and chickens, which can be fed and stroked together, are also particularly popular. Some of the animals also run around freely in the garden - it's worth taking a look under the trees, bushes and shrubs to discover the fluffy inhabitants.
Great importance is attached to environmental education in the adventure garden. Children and adults can learn interesting facts about the local flora and fauna at various learning stations, for example at the bee station: here visitors can observe the work of the busy insects, while descriptive information boards explain the important role of bees in our ecosystem. Visitors can also observe the animals up close and learn more about the different breeds and their special features in the chicken coop, where old chicken breeds are kept in a species-appropriate manner.

After an extensive tour of the garden, the cozy farm café is the perfect place for a short break. The café is known for the best homemade cakes and tarts far and wide. Everything here is still lovingly prepared by hand according to grandma's recipes. You should definitely try the strawberry cake and the raspberry dream with your coffee from the large selection of specialty coffees. Many of the ingredients used come directly from the garden or the region. This not only guarantees freshness and high quality, but also supports the local economy.
The associated farm store offers plenty of regional and fresh products to take away: Here you can not only get the farm's own fruit, but also homemade jams, fruit spreads, juices, jellies and vinegar. You will also find a beautiful selection of flowers, plants and decorative items for the home and garden in the farm store.
