Pronstorf Estate

The "Culinary Advent" at Gut Pronstorf, idyllically situated between Bad Segeberg and Timmendorfer Strand, provides you with regional delicacies on the four Advent weekends. Around the gatehouse, you will find stalls selling high-quality regional products to sample or take away. Warm up in between with a hot mulled wine and find the perfect tree for your Christmas.

Great presents, special gifts for the Advent season and tasty treats to try and enjoy are available from the carefully selected exhibitors around the gatehouse on the estate. The Pronstorf Gutshof café will provide you with delicious homemade cakes and sheet cakes. Fairtrade coffee is supplied by the Liubice coffee roastery.

Continue to the Christmas horse stables: here you can feast together with your loved ones in a cozy atmosphere. From sea salt potatoes to Sussländer venison sausage, there is delicious food and tasty wines to try and take away. For cooking at home, you can buy venison and smoked eel from the Pronstorfer Wardersee and fresh game meat from the Pronstorfer Gutforsten.

From December 1st, you can not only buy the ingredients for your Christmas dinner, but also the Christmas tree. The trees, which are purchased directly from the forester, also bring the Christmas feeling into your own four walls.

Canal Christmas

In Friedrichstadt, the little Amsterdam on Schleswig-Holstein's North Sea coast, a cozy Christmas village awaits you on the market square with small wooden huts. Christmas decorations, handicrafts and delicacies from local workshops and kitchens are on offer there. The illuminated houses in the beautiful village of Friedrichstadt and the canals create a particularly romantic atmosphere around the decorated Christmas tree. The stores in the old town invite you to stroll around and buy presents on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Ykaerne Christmas Market Eckernförde

The Eckernförde Christmas market enchants its visitors with a festive atmosphere right by the Baltic Sea. Lovingly designed stalls are lined up here, offering a wide selection ranging from handmade arts and crafts to culinary delicacies. A particular highlight is the historic wooden carousel, which creates a nostalgic atmosphere and is particularly popular with the youngest visitors.

In addition to strolling through the market, visitors can meet Santa Claus on Advent Saturdays and post their wish lists in his special letterbox. Traditional events such as the Santa Claus Star March and the Santa Lucia parade also ensure a contemplative Advent atmosphere and unforgettable moments.

Lübeck: The Christmas city of the north

From 25.11, Lübeck is transformed into a festive city with its numerous Christmas markets. The Christmas city of Lübeck offers an enchanting atmosphere in the historic UNESCO World Heritage Old Town. Countless poinsettias, fairy lights and festively decorated Christmas trees light up the dark winter days and create a feeling of security. The Christmas market has been an integral part of Lübeck's Advent season since 1648 and still exudes traditional charm today. Whether enjoying a mulled wine under the historic Kaak, strolling through the alleyways or marveling at handmade works of art - Lübeck promises unforgettable Christmas moments.

Between the magnificent churches, the cozy alleyways and the markets, you can immerse yourself in the Christmas spirit and take a trip back in time. A visit to the Ferris wheel, an organ concert in a Gothic church or an encounter with fairytale characters will bring children's dreams back to life. The festive lighting accompanies visitors through the city and creates a magical winter atmosphere that delights young and old alike.

City of Lights Eutin

For the third time, the city of lights in Eutin shines and invites you to take a magical tour through the city bay, which is illuminated in winter. The approximately 1.5 km long route leads through the charming pedestrian zone, along the idyllic town bay and up to the impressive Schlossplatz square. Spectacular light installations tell Eutin's town history and "life at court" in an artistic way.

The Christmas market on the castle terraces in front of Eutin Castle also opens its doors to accompany the City of Lights. On the Sundays in Advent in particular, St. Nicholas will make children's eyes light up with small gifts, while attractions such as a craft tent, face painting and a children's carousel provide entertainment at the weekend. Culinary delights include a wide selection of savory and sweet treats as well as warming drinks such as Winzer mulled wine and hot chocolate.

Cozy wooden shelters and wind-protected igloos create a cozy atmosphere that invites you to linger. "The Christmas market will be a hygge meeting place for young and old," say the organizers. As a special highlight, the festively decorated Christmas train will once again travel through the atmospherically illuminated streets of Eutin this year.

Grömitz winter market

The Grömitz winter market is aimed at all those who can't get enough of the festive feeling. With a Christmas atmosphere, a breeze of sea air around your nose and a mulled wine or Lumumba in your hand, you can enjoy your time here between the holidays.

From 25.12. to 01.01., the Baltic seaside resort awakens from its winter slumber and attracts locals and visitors with a wide range of winter stalls and culinary delights. The Christmas atmosphere is rounded off by a musical program with a daily changing DJ and cover bands. The perfect mix to bring the days after Christmas to a close.
