Klausdorf is a former municipality in the district of Plön, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is now part of the town Schwentinental, which was formed on 1 March 2008 through the merger of Klausdorf and Raisdorf. Klausdorf is located approximately 20 km northwest of Plön and 5 km east of Kiel. It is situated near the cities of Neumünster and Kiel, as well as the Baltic Sea coast and the Kiel Canal. The town has a population of around 6029 inhabitants as of late 2016.
