Due to its favorable location, the variety of landscapes and the originally preserved village character, Reith with its 1,700 inhabitants is a recognized neighbor of the city of Kitzbühel and a popular place for those guests who are looking for peace and relaxation, but who also want to take advantage of the wide range of infrastructural facilities don't want to do without the top region of Kitzbühel. In summer, the "Schwarzsee" and the "Gieringer Weiher", the "Kitzbühel-Schwarzsee-Reith" golf course and hiking and biking opportunities in Bichlach are a valuable addition. Reith is directly adjacent to Kitzbühel, the world-famous winter and summer sports resort. The well-known "Hahnenkamm" ski area, the "Wilder Kaiser/Brixental" ski area and the St. Johann ski area as well as the surrounding mountains invite you to enjoy winter sports as well as mountain hiking, mountain biking etc. in summer. There are eight attractive and challenging courses available to golfers within half an hour's drive, four of them in Kitzbühel alone. Munich, Salzburg and Innsbruck are each only about an hour's drive away. All three cities have international flight connections.
