The best beaches of Lloret del Mar

Cala Sa Boadella

This beautiful beach is located between the beach of Santa Cristina and Fenals. It has easy access with a parking just few minutes walking. It has a restaurant on the beach.

It is practically very virgin beach that combines the charm of the crystalline waters of the small beaches of the Costa Brava with the space of the widest beaches. The practice of nudism is authorized. And on the left, there are the well-known Gardens of Santa Clotilde.

It is currently considered the best beach in Catalonia, the second best in Spain and the ninth in Europe.

Cala Canyelles

Cala Canyelles is a beautiful beach located in the magnificent urbanization of Cala Canyelles, which also has a port. It offers several leisure activities, such as water skiing, ski-bob, paddle-surfing, and kayaking, among others. It has a magnificent restaurant where to enjoy the best seafood, with beautiful and panoramic sea views, a beach bar, another restaurant and a bar above the port.

The beach is separated by rocks called Ses Roques des Mig. The part that goes from these rocks to the left side is called Sa Somera. This cove has been distinguished with the Blue Flag badge.

Santa Cristina

Santa Cristina is a beautiful beach, located between the cliffs of the Botanical garden of Pinya de Rosa.

It is one of the most emblematic and familiar beaches of Lloret de Mar, with crystalline shallow waters and fine sand, which makes it a perfect beach to enjoy with the family. It is very well protected from wind and waves thanks to its perfect location.

Going down to the beach, there is the beautiful Hermitage of Santa Cristina, built in the 18th century, which we recommend to visit as well.

It has a parking. On this beach we find the exclusive Hotel Santa Marta, surrounded by about 6 hectares of forest, and right in front of the Mediterranean.

Cala Trons

La Caleta d'en Trons is a small and beautiful beach, located just outside the centre of Lloret de Mar in the Costa Brava.

It is a beach of great landscape beauty, surrounded by rocks, which also offers an ideal sand surface for bathers who frequent it.

We can access this beach by car or on foot by the beautiful Camino de Ronda, which begins in Lloret de Mar. It is one of the best round roads of the Costa Brava, since it includes the passage through the beautiful Caleta dels Frares, and the viewpoint between it and Cala dels Trons itself.

Sa Caleta

Located at the end of the beach of Lloret de Mar, Sa Caleta is a small beach composed of thick sand and golden colour, perfect for those looking for some quiet place and away from the great beach of Lloret de Mar. To reach it, we have simply to continue the promenade of the beach of Lloret de Mar, pass by the rocks of Sa Cadireta, continue along the small beach of Es Pou and finally leave behind the viewpoint of Mallorca.

Sa Caleta was traditionally a refuge for fishermen's boats, as it is the only small port near the town, since the true port is in Cala Canyelles. There is the well-known Castle d’en Plaja, presiding over the beach on its left. It was built in 1940 in medieval style, although it is currently a private home.

At the end of Sa Caleta, the Camino de Ronda begins.
