Our property is located in the village of Lledías, better known as the residential area of Posada de Llanes. With only 250 inhabitants, it is characterised by being a quiet village under the Sierra del Cuera. Just a few metres away is Posada, where you will find all kinds of services: restaurants, chemist, health centre and craft shops, as well as the weekly street market that is held here. Here the locals lead a more active life as it is almost as important as the town of Llanes itself. The main festivity in Posada is held on 25th July, the feast of St. James the Apostle, and in Lledías the celebration is in honour of St. Francis. Lledías is a desirable place to spend a good holiday or to settle down for good. The winters are warm and the summers are mild, which allows you to rest during the night. The tourists who frequent this area tend to be mountain or beach lovers, golfers or hikers. The house is 4km from the beaches of Barro, Toranda and Torimbia and 1km from the beach of San Antolin, the closest to the village of Posada. Access on foot is via a well-maintained path with an easy descent to the sand. The airports of Santander and Asturias are an hour away by motorway. Gijón and Oviedo are connected to Madrid by AVE high speed train. Distance to Gijón 45 minutes and to Oviedo one hour.
