The village is located on a plain, on the right bank of the Vernisa River, at the foot of a hill. The climate is temperate, with cold winters and prevailing winds from the east and west, with the east wind usually bringing rainfall, mainly in autumn and winter. From Valencia, Benicolet can be accessed via the A-7, connecting to the CV-40 and CV-60, and finally reaching the CV-610.
