The dual carriageway can be easily reached, making the property conveniently placed for accessing public services. Alicante Airport is 57km from the property, reachable in 35 minutes by dual carriageway. The "sierra" is one of the last foothills of the "Cordilleras Béticas". The predominant material is limestone, although the intense tectonic activity has led to the existence of very varied landscapes. The highest peak is "Montcabrer", at 1390 m, the third highest in the province of Alicante. In addition to this, there are numerous peaks over a thousand metres, such as "Alto de Mariola" (1,158 m), "El Contador" (1,232 m) and "El Portín" (1,081 m). This mountain range has a Mediterranean climate with a slight continental tinge due to the relative average altitude. This mountain range is remarkably rich in plant varieties. Most of the sierra is covered by a forest formation in which Aleppo pine is predominant together with various shrubs such as gorse, rosemary and rockrose. However, it is also possible to find a mixed Mediterranean forest, in which species such as holm oak intermingle with deciduous trees that are much less common in the Valencian Community, such as ash, maple or gall oak as tree species, and the presence of the "durillo", butcher's broom or honeysuckle as shrub species.
