BucleEl Encinar is a luxurious urbanization 11.8 kilometers from Madrid. It is bordered to the north by La Moraleja and has its origins in the Torrejón de Ardoz air base, where the American military and their families lived for 34 years in a purely American context. However, in 1992 it passed into Spanish hands and it is then when it began to be conceived as we know it today. In El Encinar there are several different types of homes: apartments, penthouses, first floor apartments with gardens, semi-detached, townhouses and detached houses, mostly within gated and guarded areas with pleasant common areas that include gardens, swimming pools and sports facilities. The concept is very similar to Soto, although its constructions are much more recent. As demographic data, it is inhabited mostly by young families with children and as an administrative note, it should be pointed out that part of El Encinar belongs to the municipality of Alcobendas (postal code 28109) and another part to the municipality of Hortaleza (postal code 28055).
