Torre del Mar, is a beautiful town on the Costa del Sol that is characterized by its environmental quality and the extension of its magnificent beaches of dark sand and moderate waves, family atmosphere, considered one of the best beaches, as it has the Q of tourist quality. The Poniente promenade is considered one of the most beautiful of the Andalusian coast. Today it is the seat of the Mayor's Office and music conservatory. At 3 km is Velez Malaga with its ancient Arab fortress, the remains of a mosque and numerous Christian temples from the fifteenth century, and civil buildings such as the Palace of the Marquises of Beniel.
