Classic luxury flat in a historical building
Preu
2.300.000 €
With a built area of over 300 m2, this luxurious property surprises us with spectacular finishes of the highest quality, as well as palatial ornaments inside. We are greeted by a large living room with crystal chandeliers, stucco walls and elements of both doors and furniture of fine woods worked to measure by cabinet makers as well as moldings with gold leaf and unique pieces in the room. Through impressive double doors we move to the second living room, which includes the dining area and revolves around a large courtyard with onyx floors that can be illuminated, as well as a large floor-to-ceiling mural custom created for the house, as well as a sculpture-fountain created by the master glassmaker Josep San Juan. This area gives access to the kitchen area, which also has windows to this spectacular courtyard. The property has three spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, as well as a guest toilet. At the same time it has a large office with custom-made bookcases and classic columns inside. Three bright balconies to the street and a second interior patio complete the property. The property has central air conditioning ducts, ceramic tile floors with underfloor heating, double glazing, electric shutters, alarm and security door. The building also has a doorman and elevator. The property is sold with two parking spaces in a neighboring building, as well as with the furniture that includes furniture, carpets, lamps, etc. (not including some items of decoration and household goods).

In the heart of the city, in the "Plaza del Ayuntamiento", is located this emblematic and historic building from 1920. Its history begins in the late nineteenth century, when at that time the Valencian bourgeoisie wanted to transfer to the city of Valencia the customs and architectural style of Italian cities. Moved by this trend, the Marquise of Campo Salinas and Countess of Ripalda, Mrs. María Josefa Paulín de la Peña, commissioned the architect Joaquín María Arnau Miramón (Valencia, March 16, 1849 - Godella, September 8, 1906) in 1889 to build a space that would bear the name of the Countess herself: the Ripalda Passage. This passage was built as an architectural ensemble of clear neoclassical style, surprising the Valencians by the imposing arches of its entrances, which welcomed passersby to its interior decorated with harmonious lintels and corbels, all under its skylights that filled the passage with light.
