Engel & Völkers is pleased to present this house where design, shapes and colours blend together to create a unique and exclusive home, created by Ana Milena Hernández Palacios and Christophe Penasse, from the Masquespacio design studio, internationally recognised with various awards for their creations around the world. All of this professional background has been translated into this old and typical Valencian farmhouse from 1925, trying to maintain the essence of the historic character of the house and respecting the beauty of its past. The house has it all: an incomparable setting, a good size for living upstairs and working downstairs and plenty of light. As you enter the house, you can see the original hydraulic tiled floors made in Valencia, as well as the skirts and ceiling, along with its brick walls. The ground floor has 3 rooms that can be configured either as a work area or as a bedroom, another living room, a kitchen and a dining area with access to the interior courtyard where an interior garden has been created as a transition point between spaces. On the upper floor of the house the play of square, triangular, circular and semicircular shapes stands out. The first one we find is the kitchen/living room in an open space, here more sophisticated materials such as marble, aluminium, micro-cement and handmade tiles were used. The furniture was all designed by the Masquespacio design studio, as part of the Mas Creations collections. On leaving the kitchen/living room we pass through a corridor that on the left connects with a large terrace, to enjoy the open air, with elements such as the table and seats, designed by its creators, while a little further on we find the bathroom that draws attention with its splash of yellow colour created with handmade tiles and the wall made with the traditional Mediterranean technique of trencadís. At the end of the space, we find the jewel in the crown, the master bedroom, where the ball-shaped bed with a touch of fluorescent colour instantly grabs all the attention. This dome that offers total disconnection at the end of the day was designed by the Masquespacio design studio and manufactured with a 3D robot. The house also has a garage area and a studio/storage room on the ground floor with a large capacity to be used as a multipurpose space. It is worth mentioning its exclusive furniture, work of the design studio Masquespacio, its microcement floors, its aluminium enclosures with thermal and acoustic chamber of 4 mm, heating/cooling system by external ducts, forming part of the design of the house, Siemens electrical appliances and the induction hob of the prestigious brand Bora with integrated smoke extraction system and a sophisticated lighting system that enhances the uniqueness of this exclusive house.
