Villafranca del Castillo is one of the most beautiful luxury urbanisations in Madrid due to its large green areas and single-family homes. It has a central park of more than 2 sqm long to take pleasant walks and enjoy nature. This former hunting estate allows you to make routes through what is now the regional park of the Guadarrama River, which is protected and does not allow the construction of more houses. It has two schools, the Zola School and the SEK El Castillo International School, as well as the well-known Camilo José Cela University. On the same premises as the university you can enjoy a magnificent private club with spectacular facilities: 50 metre indoor swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna, tennis and paddle tennis courts and riding school. The excellent La Dehesa Golf Course is located in the municipality, at a distance of 15 minutes. At the same distance is the Alfonso X El Sabio University and nearby is the Francisco de Vitoria University. The area has a shopping centre offering all services: pharmacy, supermarket, veterinary surgeon, restaurants, parish church, cultural centre, social security health centre and private medical centre. The Puerta de Hierro University Hospital, one of the largest and most modern, is only five minutes away. This urbanisation is just 10 minutes drive from Majadahonda and Las Rozas, and the Gran Plaza 2 shopping centre. It has good bus links to Madrid. At both ends of the urbanisation are the accesses to it, where two motorways pass, the M-503 and the M-509, which gives it a very advantageous network of means of transport.
