Thanks to having preserved this coast free from masses of tourists for many years and to enjoying numerous protected natural places, today it boasts a coastline that is a true paradise: wide beaches with clean water and endless dunes with the finest sand of the whole peninsula. Many of them are located in pristine and quiet environments. Other are more lively and have top resorts, marinas, golf courses and offer a variety of leisure facilities. Of great natural wealth, one can enjoy a sublime gourmet cuisine consisting of the best seafood, great Iberian meats and fine wines. The Costa de la Luz also offers the best weather conditions for the practice of sailing, water sports, surfing and paragliding throughout the year. From the National Park of Doñana, passing through the pristine beaches of Huelva and Cadiz, delicious Zahara de los Atunes and the ancient Roman enclave of Bolonia, we arrive to the surfer paradise of Tarifa; the southernmost point of the Iberian Peninsula and place, where the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea meet off the African Coast.
