Engel&Völkers exclusively presents this spectacular country house located in the heart of the Sierra Morena Natural Park in Seville. It is a complex of 3763 square metres built, distributed in a two-storey main building of almost 1800 square metres, a new construction area of 1200 square metres, a house of 245 square metres, and 470 square metres of warehouse, stables and house. The estate in which it is located has 30 hectares of ecological olive grove, and it is a private hunting ground for deer, wild boar and thrushes. The sensitivity and beauty with which this house has been created make it a unique place where objects from different centuries coexist in a special harmony. Acquired by its owners in 1990, it has been built and decorated by them with original antique elements. This absolute dedication can be seen in every detail, including the Vandelvira façade, the 14th century Mudejar style doors, part of the floor made of Tarifa slabs from the Cathedral of Seville, all the ironwork in the house from the 17th and 18th centuries, the railing of the staircase in the entrance hall made of 18th century Palo Santo, and the hand-cut clay bricks from the area. The house is founded on a chamber that protects it from the humidity of the ground. Likewise, its 90-centimetre walls with an air chamber naturally insulate it from the outside temperature. For this reason, air conditioning is not necessary in summer, and in winter it has almost 50 fireplaces that keep the heat inside. Once past the main entrance door, on the right is the Portal cottage, where there is a living room, kitchen and toilet on the ground floor, and two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms on the two upper floors. On the left hand side is the Gipsy lounge. And in the central part is the renaissance style courtyard, with the gardening made up of balls and boxwood hedges with agapanthus. To the right of the courtyard is the large dining room, with an earthenware chinoiserie at one end, and to the left, also communicating with the Gipsy room, is the entrance hall, with high vaulted ceilings. On the first floor, as soon as we go up the stairs, we reach the spectacular library, where the protagonist is the painted wooden ceiling. This room connects to the gallery, which is very bright thanks to the eleven balconies overlooking the central courtyard. From the gallery we access two large bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and the cosy living room, which has an office area and a bathroom. This room has an exit to a beautiful porch with a pergola roof with vines, which is the anteroom to the swimming pool. Nearby is the entrance to the casita of San José, a large independent flat with living room, kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom. There is another cottage further on, currently used by the owners of the property, with living room, kitchen, three bedrooms, a bathroom and a toilet. There is also a bedroom with a bathroom for the staff. Separated from the main building is the 245 square metre cottage El Carmen, which is the largest of the two houses. It has three bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, living room, kitchen and toilet, distributed over two floors. This cottage also has a bucolic swimming pool. In such a special property, a chapel is a must. The chapel of San Antonio, in baroque style with frescoes on the walls, is located in the transept at the entrance to the house, where religious ceremonies are held with great charm. The farmhouse has a new construction area attached to it, which is well advanced but not finished, and which is joined to the main building through the bookshop. This is an extension of approximately 1200 square metres, where there are plans for six bedrooms with their respective bathrooms, a cinema room, a large kitchen, two dining rooms, two multi-purpose rooms, a tower with a belvedere and terrace, a gallery on each of the two floors surrounding a courtyard, and a lift. On the other side of the garden there is another building, where the stables are located, with ten boxes for horses, a shed for tools with an area for storing the horse carriages, and a small house for the service staff with a living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Adjacent to this building is the riding arena and the track for horse-drawn carriages. The owners have a very personal style, which is also evident in the garden, where the taste of the fruits on the trees, the smell of the wide variety of flowers, especially roses, and the soothing sound of the water running in various fountains, create a unique atmosphere. Throughout the four hectares of garden there are different nooks and crannies that invite peace and tranquillity; magical places that nourish the senses. The property, complete with heliport, is the epitome of great luxury. It is a place that evokes unforgettable experiences and sensations, and makes those who live there feel unique and exclusive.

The estate is located in the Sierra Morena de Sevilla Natural Park, a protected natural area located in the north of the province of Seville, which is part of the Biosphere Reserve. It is an area of low mountain ranges, with altitudes between 260 and almost 1000 metres. In this park you can admire an attractive landscape of dehesas made up of holm oaks, cork oaks and gall oaks. The large patches of vegetation are home to deer and wild boar, and other species that are difficult to see, such as foxes, genets, mongooses and lynxes. Birds such as the black vulture, kestrels, great eagles and black storks can also be seen in this area. This haven of peace is located between 4 and 8 kilometres from Constantina (where there is a High Resolution Hospital), San Nicolás del Puerto and Cazalla de la Sierra. The estate has a heliport, and is an hour's drive from the train stations of Cordoba and Seville, and Seville airport. It is a privileged space, where you can enjoy the silence and the pleasure of breathing pure air in contact with nature. In the 18th century, Felipe V temporarily established his summer residence and that of his court in Cazalla de la Sierra by medical prescription, due to the depressions and nervous breakdowns he suffered. His doctor argued that the pure mountain air and tranquillity would alleviate his ailments. And he was right.
