Vega de La Moraleja, also known as Moscatelares or La Hoya, is one of the most attractive areas of San Sebastián de los Reyes. Located just 20 minutes from the centre of Madrid by car, it can be reached easily and directly from exit 17 of the A1 and is also close to the M40 and M50 ring roads. It also has an extensive public transport network: numerous bus lines, two nearby stations on Metro line 10 and a suburban train station just over 1 km away. Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas airport and Chamartín station can be reached in 10 and 15 minutes respectively. Very close to the protected natural environment of the Dehesa Boyal, this is an eminently residential area with numerous green areas and public parks, as well as a wide range of public and private educational facilities, both schools and universities. It has a magnificent range of services: various supermarkets, sports facilities and clubs, gyms, two health centres, the Infanta Sofía Hospital, which can be reached in just 5 minutes, and a fire station. The shopping, leisure and restaurant offer is guaranteed with the Alegra and Diversia shopping centres, but above all with the nearby Parque Comercial Megapark, where Ikea and Media Markt, among others, are located, as well as the emblematic Plaza Norte 2 shopping centre.
