Calefacció de gasoilLocated in the valley of the river Vernisa, between the Marchuquera and Ador mountain ranges. The municipality has two distinct parts. The southern half is mountainous and is occupied by the Ador mountain range (680 m), which belongs to the pre-betic system and is Cretaceous in nature, oriented from southwest to northeast. The northern half forms a gentle slope that reaches as far as the river Vernisa, which runs along the northern end. The soil of this second part belongs to the Quaternary and Tertiary periods, with traces of Burdigalian, dominated by loams and red clays that are very suitable for the development of agriculture. The town is built on the right bank of the river Vernisa, with straight, parallel streets, perpendicular to a central one, sloping gently down from the slopes of a hill to the river. This town can be reached by road from Valencia via the N-332, and from Gandía via the CV-60, which is 13Km away.
