39085A103000730000UU CLASSIFICATION: SIMPLE NON-DEVELOPABLE LAND – SNU AUTHORIZED USES AND ACTIONS: In the absence of a more restrictive provision of territorial planning, sectoral legislation or applicable urban planning, the following constructions and uses may be authorized: (a) Those referred to in paragraph 2 of the preceding Article. (b) Those necessary for the performance of activities related to the processing and marketing of traditional products or products derived from agricultural activity, and the complementary services of such activities. (c) Extractive activities and related constructions. d) Sports and leisure uses without associated facilities or with removable facilities necessary to carry out the activity, as well as outdoor sports and leisure facilities that are either accessory to pre-existing constructions and installations, or locate their associated constructions based on pre-existing buildings, without prejudice to the possible adaptation to these new uses. (e) The construction of detached single-family dwellings, as well as facilities linked to artisanal, cultural, leisure and rural tourism activities, under the terms established in the fifth additional provision and in the ninth transitory provision of this Law.

The municipality of Cantabria de Suances belongs to the natural region known as Franja Costera or La Marina. It has a large number of places of interest for nature lovers, due to the great accessibility and observation facilities that the coast presents.
