Beniarjó is situated in the Gandia orchard and is entirely flat, with the only geographical features being the meanders of the Serpis and Vernissa rivers, which converge very close to Beniarjó. The Serpis river crosses the municipality from south to north and grazes the population nucleus to the west, while its tributary, the Barniza, crosses the municipality from southwest to northeast. The urban area forms a conurbation with that of Beniflá to the south. Beniarjó is accessed via the CV-680 road from Gandia to the north, passing through Almoines. The AP-7 motorway also crosses the municipality at a short distance from the nucleus, although the closest access is in Oliva. Formerly, the Alcoi-Gandia train line had a station in Beniarjó.
