Modern country house within walking distance to the old town of Pollensa

When designing this very special house, which is in a beautiful location very close to Pollensa, great emphasis was placed on making sure the construction stood in harmony with the surrounding landscape. The horizontal, single storey layout of the house is divided into three separate areas, reducing its apparent size, and each area has skylights helping to provide plenty of daylight. The sleeping area is orientated to the north, which ensures more shade for the five large bedrooms, two on suite bathrooms, one family bathroom and a guest toilet. A beautiful living room in the central section opens to a fabulous covered terrace next to the 60 sqm pool. And facing south are a grand kitchen equipped with Siemens and Gaggenau appliances, that is open plan to the dining room, both have views to the pool and well-kept garden with the Puig de Maria in the background. The staggered floor plan enhances the views and natural lighting, while the 2.7-meter-high glass doors and windows emphasize the house's spaciousness. In tribute to Mallorcan tradition, the perimeter walls of the 17,000 sqm plot and the exterior façade of the house are built with drystone construction, as are some of the interior walls. The approach to the house is via a long driveway, offering ample parking. Additionally, there is a private well, and plans are in place for a solar energy installation.
