Sa Cabaneta is a village belonging to the municipality of Marratxí, it is located about 13 km from the centre of the city of Palma and has easy access to both Palma and the airport via the motorway. It has a population of approximately 9.000 inhabitants. The main attraction of the village is the manufacture of the famous figures called siurells, as well as impressive views towards the bay of Palma from the highest part of the village.
