The property sits at the foot of the stunning UNESCO Tramuntana mountains in the quiet, highly sought-after area of La Font, Pollensa, just 15 minutes’ walk to Pollensa town and 15 minutes’ drive to Port de Pollença. This family holiday home has been completely refurbished and beautifully landscaped, sleeps 10 people and has 5 large bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The house has 3 balconies, all of which offer stunning views of the surrounding area and a 15-metre saltwater, heated pool. On entering, you will be greeted by a breath-taking hallway with sweeping stairs and designer ambient lighting, leading through to a bright, open plan lounge, dining area, the kitchen, a self-contained utility room and a private snug/playroom. The kitchen, with a large island/breakfast bar, has everything you need including a solid wood dining table that accommodates 10 for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The connecting utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer, large American-style fridge freezer and a separate sink/drainer. The house has high-speed fibre optic internet, so you can enjoy connected living throughout the house and also in the gardens, air-conditioning and central heating throughout, and is secured with a monitored security alarm. All bedrooms have their own bathroom, black-out blinds, mosquito nets in the windows, and plenty of storage with built-in wardrobes. Two of the master bedrooms (one upstairs, one downstairs) are equipped with a safe. The rear garden boasts a 15-metre, salt-water, heated swimming pool, large enough for kids and adults to share without feeling over-crowded and which has a practical electric cover. In the south east corner, you will find a large Bali-bed and Hammock area for relaxing, surrounded by exotic tropical plants, a wonderful place to chill in the afternoons and watch the sun go down over the mountains. The municipality of Pollensa includes, the old town of Pollensa, Cala San Vicente, the Port of Pollensa and Formentor with fantastic clear water caves and sandy beaches. La Font / “La Huerta de la Font”, is the name of the urban development that surrounds the historical village of Pollensa. It is located on the outskirts, to the North of the town, at the foot of one of the final stretches of beautiful Tramuntana Mountain Range. The distance from La Font to Pollensa is only 2km. The urbanisation was developed exclusively for the construction of detached villas, built alongside, ancient, well-known farmhouses and large country estates. The majority of the villas in La Font have swimming pools and pretty gardens with panoramic views of the surroundings, mountains. La Font is also known for being a peaceful and natural beauty spot, rich in vegetation with small tracks, bordered with classic Majorcan walls “stone clad”. The Old Town Pollensa is a perfect place to see the ‘authentic’ Mallorca. The centre is a maze of narrow paved streets, the main market square, perhaps the most charming in all of Mallorca, oozes with history and tradition and is the central meeting place for locals and visitors alike, and venue to the colorful weekly Sunday morning market. A place to share tapas and drinks with friends, to write, to paint, to photograph….There is always something going on. The town is lively all year round, with charming boutiques, cool bars and a vast choice of good restaurants. Also cycling, golf, tennis, climbing, yoga and an unending list of sporting / relaxing activities are available.
