The Como shipping company offers convenient connections all year round to other picturesque lakeside towns, such as the famous town of Bellagio. The Lombard metropolis of Milan, with its international airports Malpensa and Linate, is about 1 hour and 48 minutes' drive away (approx. 96 km), and the Swiss city of Lugano with its regional airport is about 55 minutes' drive away (approx. 40 km), offering important infrastructure that is easy to reach. Of interest to winter sports enthusiasts is the relative proximity of the well-known ski resorts of St. Moritz (CH), as well as Madesimo, Bormio and Livigno (Ital.), which can be reached by car in about 1,3/4 - 3 hours.
