This beautiful mountain-style house is located in the village of Casamaría in the municipality of Herrerías in the heart of the Nansa basin, very close to the beaches of the western coast, its most touristy towns (San Vicente de la Barquera, Comillas) and the municipalities of the Saja-Nansa region, 70 km from Santander. This municipality is rich in caves and has one of extraordinary value: the El Soplao cave, shared with the neighbouring municipalities of Rionansa and Valdáliga. It borders Asturias and its lands are bathed by the river Nansa. It was a territory in which there were numerous forges (hence the name of the municipality), among which the Cades forge is particularly noteworthy. Its neighbourhoods are located on both banks of the river Nansa, with typical mountain buildings, both in terms of construction and town planning.
