Romantic suite on the water

We make our way to our property crossing Campo Santi Giovanni e Paolo, amidst architectural marvels such as the church of the same name and the Scuola Grande di San Marco, enveloped by the magnificent views and brightness that characterises the whole area. Along the path on the fondamenta we notice a picturesque, recently restored block of flats overlooking the water: it almost seems to invite us to cross the bridge, we have arrived at our destination! The property is on the mezzanine floor, with exposed brickwork and views of the rio. We enter through the separate entrance and find ourselves in an open space that has the allure of a large suite on the water. This is a unique property, precisely because of the views over the water, but even more so because of the private water gate directly overlooking the canal. It is an extraordinary meeting point between one's home and the Lagoon, offering the daily luxury of being able to reach one's home directly by boat, as well as admiring the Venetian landscape from the sofa in the living room, perhaps listening to music, reading a book or sipping a good wine. At this point of the visit, we are already won over, but we can also appreciate the kitchen with an island table, which winks at moments of conviviality, such as an aperitif or an informal dinner. We complete our visit by going through the door leading to the bathroom, which is windowed. On the way out, the shots we report tell a lot about this property: it is simply the perfect spot to experience Venice at its most authentic, as well as an attractive investment. A loft with such a private water gate in Venice is, quite simply, a priceless luxury.
