The Triante neighborhood, west of the city of Monza, is a residential area close to the city center. It is bordered by the San Giuseppe and San Biagio neighborhoods: it separates them by the Villoresi canal, along which runs an environmentally friendly bicycle path, frequented by “runners” of all ages; further south, bordered by the redeveloped Viale Lombardia the San Fruttuoso district. Triante, with its very active and dynamic commercial core, is a strategic area: close to reach even on foot the historic center and the railway station, and extremely convenient for travel to the new Valassina (SS36), major routes and the city of Milan.
The capital of Brianza, Monza is an important economic and cultural geographic area, and one of the richest in Lombardy: 15 kilometers north of Milan, close to Bergamo, Como and Lecco, and less than 30 minutes from the Switzerland. Of great attraction are the 14th-century Duomo, a treasure chest of the precious Iron Crown, used from the early Middle Ages until the 19th century for the coronation of the Kings of Italy; the nearby Arengario, Monza's ancient Town Hall dating back to the 13th century; Piermarini's sumptuous Villa Reale, recently returned to its former glory; and the Autodromo Nazionale set in the green setting of Monza Park, the largest walled park.
