Just a few minutes from the city centre is the famous Praia da Rocha, with its wide sandy beach, crystal clear waters and majestic cliffs that extend to the beaches of Amado and Vau. Nearby you can also visit the fishing villages of fishing villages of Alvor, Ferragudo and Carvoeiro, the thermal baths of Monchique, Lagos (the city of discoveries) and even Sagres. Faro airport is only 45 minutes away.
