The development is catalogued as a royal estate of the nineteenth-century Eixample. The surrounding area is characterised by estates with a classical façade and a high heritage value recognised by the "Eixample conservation sector". The element that gives the neighbourhood its personality is the Sagrada Família church. Today, the church is the most famous work of Gaudí in the world and the most visited place by tourists in the city. The project for the complex of the two residential buildings was designed by the architect Antonio Pineda and dates from 1954. It corresponds to the classic typology of the nineteenth-century estate of the "Ensanche". Each of the buildings is arranged with two flats per landing, around a central courtyard through which the lift runs and ventilates the access staircase, and two side courtyards. Both buildings, 358 and 360 are distributed in; ground floor, 7 standard floors, attic and attic. The standard floors have a height of 3.10 metres from floor to floor, with approximately 2.80 metres clear height. Each of the buildings are similar in distribution, at street level is the main entrance of the buildings through a stately "hall" and rehabilitated, keeping all the original elements, but renovated and newly built panoramic lift. All the flats face onto Avinguda Diagonal and the bedrooms open onto the spacious interior of the block courtyard with views of the Sagrada Família.

The development is located in the Sagrada Família neighborhood in the Eixample district. Eixample is a neighborhood developed from the second half of the nineteenth century and was built by the bourgeoisie through the acquisition of plots and the construction of modernist and neoclassical buildings, many of which housed the residences of part of the upper class of the city. The name comes from the main monument of the neighborhood which is the Basilica of the Sagrada Família. It is considered the masterpiece of the architect Antoni Gaudí and the maximum exponent of the Catalan modernist architecture, being the most visited monument in Spain. Gaudí Avenue crosses the neighborhood, linking the Sagrada Família with another primordial work of Catalan modernism: the Hospital de Sant Pau, by Lluís Domènech i Montaner. Both buildings have been declared World Heritage Sites by Unesco. A strong point of the Sagrada Família neighborhood is its standard of living and quality of life. The streets are quiet and residential, mostly inhabited by locals. It is a central neighborhood with all kinds of services and stores nearby, and a good connection in terms of public transport.
