Sineu, Balearic Islands
Charming stylish finca in the secluded heart of Mallorca
Price
€2,500,000
Delightful rustic finca located on the outskirts of Sineu. With an area of 2.5 hectares and 400 m2 of built property offering a main house and two charming guest houses. The main house was built in the early 2000s, preserving the traditional old stone. The entrance features a Mallorcan stone staircase with neat and unique details. On the first floor there is a bedroom and bathroom, an open concept kitchen with a spacious living room that's perfect for relaxing and enjoying family time together. The house shows spaces such as pantry and laundry room. The upstairs offers two bedrooms, a master one with en suite bathroom and walk-in closet. To receive your guests, the property has two additional guest houses, each with its own bathroom. Additionally, the property boasts a third building that is currently used as an art gallery: with the main chamber measuring over 50m2 and equipped with wood-burning stove, aircon/fancoil heating and an ensuite shower room, this building would make a superb self-contained guest suite or, alternatively, an impressive and spacious office from which to run a home business. The property is equipped with all modern comforts: air conditioning and heating throughout the house, with underfloor heating on the first floor of the main building and radiators on the upper floor, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere in any season. The exterior is equally impressive. It offers two outdoor dining areas for different times of the day, a serene spot for reading or just chilling under the shade of an ancient olive tree and giant mulberry, not to mention a large terrace surrounding the saltwater pool obtained from a licensed well, which supplies the house and the irrigation of the exotic cactus and cycadaceae gardens. Last but not least, the 2.5 hectares of orchards are a fruit-lover’s paradise: bursting with citrus trees and a tantalizing mix of exotic varieties including pomegranates, persimmons, peaches, medlars and figs. A secluded paradise seamlessly integrating luxury and tradition to create the perfect home for those seeking the best of all worlds.

Situated in the heart of the island, only 30 minutes from the centre of Palma, the airport and the beaches. Sineu is one of the most popular villages for foreigners who are interested in authentic Mallorcan life without sacrificing comfort. Its market, held every Wednesday, is one of the most visited and appreciated on the island. In addition to the typical stalls, you can find a wide variety of food, clothes, books and animals of all kinds, being the only livestock market on the island. It has about 4,000 inhabitants and a wide range of culinary offerings, as well as numerous cafés, hotels, a pharmacy, a train station and a sports centre. Some of the best-known restaurants include Tomassini, a restaurant that opened in 2003 and specialises in pizzas and pastas, and the Molí den Pau restaurant, which combines traditional Mallorcan and signature cuisine. It also has several interior hotels, such as Ten Mallorca - a family-run luxury boutique hotel with a total of 10 rooms. The old parish church stands out, with its seven-storey bell tower. Next to the church of Santa Maria there is a small museum with a collection of medieval pottery, which can be visited on market days. You can take a nice walk through the streets of Sineu, looking for its old wells, the crosses or the olive branches adorning its façades, as well as its old Cellers and manor houses. Its old mills can be seen from a large part of Mallorca, a reminder of the importance of cereal cultivation in its lands.
