The village of Costitx is set in the heart of Mallorca. It has only about 1,200 inhabitants and is the ideal choice for those who seek tranquility and wish to immerse themselves in the true Mallorcan culture. On the first of May, every year the village holds a flower fair called "Fira de les Flors", which is well known throughout the island, flooding the streets with an array of flowers, and also a number of craft stalls and typical local products. In addition to the well known "Astronomy Observatory of Mallorca", a magical spot where one can enjoy the hidden wonders of the universe, Costitx also provides several restaurants, bars and grocery stores, as well as banks, pharmacy, library, medical centre, and even a small hotel. Costitx is one of the towns of Mallorca with the highest number of archaeological sites per square meter, including one of the most special ones - Santuari de Son Corró, which provides information on the lifestyle of the population from prehistoric to Roman times. Costitx is about 10 minutes from the city of Inca, which has a wide range of services. It’s located approx. 30 minutes from the airport, the center of Palma and the beaches.
