From Chio you will reach the coast as well as the mountains with the national park „Cañada del Teide“ in less than 20 minutes. The location of the town is a perfect starting point for excursions into the interior, for hikes and of course for the fantastic drive to the Teide. The sunny Southwest coast of the island with its various beaches is reachable in about 20 minutes.
