Aripe: Location and surroundings of this property

Aripe is a small village located in the upper part of the municipality of Guía de Isora, one kilometer from the town centre of Guía de Isora, on the island of Tenerife. At an altitude of more than 700 meters above sea level and close to Chirche. The village of Aripe, together with Chirche, forms part of the Historical Heritage of the Canary Islands, thanks to the group of buildings of great historical, ethnographic and architectural value to be found in the area. The orography is dominated by a network of ravines that converge next to the village of Chirche, giving rise to the Barranco de Guía ravine. The appropriate climatic conditions and the fertility of the fertilized soils justify the important agricultural activity developed historically in this area, based on dry crops and fruit trees. The prickly pear and almond trees that dot the landscape are linked to more recent farms dating back to the mid-19th century.
