Bonnevoie District

A dynamic residential district

Located in the south or south-east of the city, Bonnevoie or rather "Bouneweg" offers so much more than just an active city life or proximity to Luxembourg's main railway station. With more than 16,000 inhabitants, Bonnevoie is the most populous, if not the most dynamic district in Luxembourg.
In addition to the excellent public transport connections by bus and tram, the new pedestrian bridge to the railway station, a public transport hub, provides fast and flexible access to all means of transport in the direction of Findel Airport, Kirchberg, the city centre or all other municipalities in Luxembourg, including the TGV to Paris.
In Bonnevoie itself, one has easy access to all amenities for daily needs, such as numerous supermarkets, local grocery shops, bakeries, pharmacies, doctors' offices, banks, automobile workshops and dealers as well as petrol stations and much more. There are also several schools, day-care centres or nurseries, a music school, sports clubs for football and volleyball, gymnastics and tennis as well as an indoor swimming pool.

In addition to numerous playgrounds, green spaces and parks, such as the Kaltreispark, Bonnevoie also offers a perfect work-life balance as well as an active possibility to organise one's personal evening programme due to the numerous restaurants, bars and cultural events that can usually all be reached within walking distance in the neighbourhood. Bonnevoie has a healthy mix of very quiet but also busier residential areas, so that the district is interesting for many different groups of people and thus also seems to have an individual, adapted desired neighbourhood available for each individual.
