Venetian charm by the Frari

We leave the Frari's Basilica with the adjacent 15th-century Franciscan convent behind us and in a few steps we reach the entrance to our property. Once through the main door, we find ourselves in a pleasant, recently renovated hallway with the classic red and white chequered marble flooring. From here we climb the stairs on our left to reach the second floor and the entrance to our flat. Crossing the threshold, we are immediately struck by the cosy atmosphere of the house, which has undergone a very recent renovation, preserving the characteristic Venetian terrazzo floors almost everywhere, while the old exposed beams are currently present in the master bedroom. The pastel shades on the walls and the skilfully hand-painted doors on which portraits of multicoloured feathered birds stand out, and the classic but well-balanced furnishings make for an immediate 'feeling of being at home'. The rooms offer generous and comfortable spaces, with a separate kitchen, a large living area, a windowed bathroom with shower, and a spacious bedroom, making this house suitable both for a couple looking for a home with good convivial spaces, and for a family looking for a second home. Its privileged location, just a few minutes' walk from the station, P. Roma and the S. Tomà vaporetto stop, and its proximity to the university, make it a very interesting and stable investment over time.
