Bevagna: Location and surroundings of this property

The medieval village of Bevagna lies in a picturesque location along the river Topino. In Roman times, it was an important and strategic settlement. From Piazza Silvestri, you can get lost in the many alleys of the historic centre. Every June, the Mercato delle Gaite takes place, one of Umbria's most famous medieval stagings, where you can taste local products and admire artisan creations. Other medieval villages such as Montefalco (known worldwide for its excellent wines at 7 km), Assisi (22 km) and Spello (13 km) are nearby. Perugia and Lake Trasimeno can be reached in less than an hour. Perugia 'San Egidio' airport is about a 45-minute drive away, thanks to its excellent connection to the SS75.
