We find ourselves in Giudecca, nestled between the natural landscapes of the southern lagoon and sweeping views of Venice and all its monuments. From the Fondamenta we walk through the calli of the Palanca area, rich in services and connections, until we arrive in front of the Junghans complex, a former watch factory, now converted to modern flats with a unique, linear design. We enter the hallway through a glass door, and immediately catch a glimpse of colours and natural light on the other side, inviting us to discover a communal garden full of trees, ivy and light, with views of the island's canals and two water gates at our disposal. We re-enter the hallway and take the lift up to the third and top floor to enter the flat, where we immediately notice the wooden floors and the light that generously radiates from them and accompanies us to the living area. We are greeted by this large open space with an open kitchen, and trying, almost out of curiosity, to sit on the sofa, from the large French window we can see the trees in the park as far as the former convent of San Cosmo and the Molino Stucky. Finally, we move on to the sleeping area, where we find a well-arranged bathroom and then a bedroom, which is also very airy, with another French door overlooking the calle. Leaving the flat, we walk down a final flight of stairs which finally opens the door to a wonderful condominium terrace with views over the South Lagoon on one side and the city's rooftops on the other, as far as La Salute and San Marco. We pause, inevitably, for a few more moments and consider how this property is an excellent investment opportunity - thanks also to the presence of septic tanks - but also an extraordinary vantage point for experiencing the enchantment of Venice at any time.
