Location: Kritinia is one of the most beautiful villages on the island and is no more than 50 km from Rhodes Town. 

Unique features: Built upon a hill with panoramic views overlooking the forests that surround the sea and the medieval castle, which thanks to its intense cultural interest, has gained much recognition. The small picturesque inlets in the area, such as Kopria, Kalami and Paleochora are ideal for short excursions.  Also very close to the village, only 4 km, is the port of Kamiros Skala, with fine fish restaurants and an ancient tomb carved into the rock. From the port of Kamiros Skala, boats depart for the picturesque island of Halki. Kritinia is a typical Greek,friendly little village with its residents who are mainly involved in agriculture along with the neighbouring villages of Embona and Mandriko creating the most productive area on the island. All necessary amenities can be found in the area including supermarkets, the medical centre in Embona, chemist, tavernas and cultural events. 

Accessibility: There is public transport from Rhodes town stopping at Kritinia and neighbouring villages.

Investment potential: Since tourism is less on the west coast of the island, property prices are more attractive even for a beach front property.

Neben der Kirche befindet sich die städtische Bücherei in einem imponierendem Gebäude, das mit klassischen altgriechischen Säulen versetzt ist. Die Hauptstraβe verfügt über Einkaufsläden, Restaurants und alle anderen notwendigen Einrichtungen.
Auβerdem liegt Kremasti direkt am Strand der Ägäis und ist nicht weit von Petaloudes, dem Schmetterlingstal entfernt, welches in den Sommermonaten eine der Hauptattraktionen der Insel ist.
Erreichbarkeit: Regelmäßige Busverbindungen nach Rhodos-Stadt und zum internationalen Flughafen.

Τοποθεσία: Το χωριό της Κρεμαστής βρίσκεται στην δυτική πλευρά του νησιού σε αποταστη 12 χιλιομέτρων από το κέντρο της Ρόδου στο δρόμο για το αεροδρόμιο.
Μοναδικά χαρακτηριστικά: Σε ένα λόφο κοντά στο κέντρο της πόλης βρίσκονται τα ερείπια ενός μεσαιωνικού κάστρου. Η τοπική εκκλησία, Παναγία Καθολική είναι μια από τις μεγαλύτερες και ωραιότερες του νησιού και το εσωτερικό είναι διακοσμημένο με τοιχογραφίες και ξύλινα γλυπτά. Δίπλα στην εκκλησία βρίσκεται η δημοτική βιβλιοθήκη, σε ένα εντυπωσιακό κτίριο με κλασικές ελληνικές στήλες. Ο κεντρικός δρόμος είναι γεμάτος με καταστήματα και εστιατόρια και όλες τις απαραίτητες ανέσεις. Η Κρεμαστή έχει τη δική της παραλία στο Αιγαίο και δεν απέχει πολύ από τις Πεταλούδες (κοιλάδα πεταλούδων), ένα από τα σημαντικότερα τουριστικά αξιοθέατα του νησιού το καλοκαίρι.
Προσβασιμότητα: Υπάρχει τακτικό λεωφορείο από την πόλη της Ρόδου.
