In progressEl Sitio de Calahonda is a coastal urbanisation which owes its name to the beach of the same name. Of the coastal areas of Mijas it is the most westerly, bordering the municipality of Marbella and to the east with Riviera del Sol. It has been populated since the 60's and its main attraction is the extensive beaches with dunes and endless pine forests.
