It preserves notable architectural elements, such as the 16th century church of Sant Genís de Montellà and the parish church of Sant Sadurní famous for its square tower bell. During the last years of the 20th century, most of the old houses as well as the central square have been restored, thus recovering the spirit and authenticity of the traditional mountain village.
