This unique property has approximately 13 hectares of land and panoramic views over the town of Pollensa, to the Puig de Maria and as far as the sea. The estate has two entrances, the main entrance with electric gates and a second older entrance. From the gates a winding driveway passes an olive grove, the caretaker’s house, and a separate guesthouse as well as a studio, and ends where there is parking and a carport at the bottom of steps approaching the main house. There are various entrances into the main house, but the principal entrance is off the amazing main terrace where there is a large pool, summer kitchen area, shower room and a medley of seating areas - all offering those unforgettable views over the entire town and beyond. The ground floor has a very large living area, separate cosy TV room, and office area that leads out onto the terrace and an idyllic covered dining area. There is also a guest toilet here. A grand stairway, as well as a lift serving all floors, lead to the first floor where there is a dining area, an entrance hall, kitchen with larder, and staff accommodation. There is also a hallway leading to a total of four double bedrooms (two ensuite including the master bedroom) plus a separate family bathroom. A staircase leads up to the second floor with two further double bedrooms, another family bathroom and a fabulous wood panelled library. The house is exceedingly charming with a very traditional Mediterranean style. The main guest house would benefit from some modernisation but as is, has a kitchen, lounge/ diner, as well as three further bedrooms with a family bathroom and a large terrace. The studio has glass doors and windows all along its façade, and also has an ensuite shower room. A caretaker cottage amongst the fruit orchards and by the main entrance gate, has one bedroom, a shower room, kitchen and lounge/ diner. A unique proposition with immense potential offering proximity to the town and plenty of space for a large family and entertaining!

The beautiful old town of Pollensa is part of the Municipality of Pollensa, which also includes Puerto Pollensa and Cala San Vicente with a total population of more than 16.000. The town is just 6 km from the coast and 58 km from the airport and the capital Palma de Mallorca. The old town is characterised by narrow streets and the old market square with cafes, bars, shops and small hotels. Pollensa is a town with history that values its traditions and customs. In the early 1920s, Pollensa became a popular destination for famous painters, writers and musicians. Today Pollensa continues to be important to the cultural and art worlds promoting and hosting concerts and exhibitions, such as the International Music Festival. The most notable occasions are the festivals of Sant Antoni in January and the week-long festivities of the patron saint ‘La Patrona Mare de Déu dels Àngels’ in August. Also well worth visiting is the wine fair in April and the Sunday markets held every week. Points of interest include the convent on the Puig de Maria, where there are fantastic 360º views. There is a Roman Bridge and the 365 steps of the Calvario, with a great little cafe at the top to recover from the climb and relish the huge views to both the bays of Pollensa and Alcudia. Pollensa is an excellent starting point for hikers and cyclists before venturing up into the Tramuntana Mountains. Featuring two stunning valleys, Vall den March and Vall de Colonya, the plains and the mountains make for striking landscapes around a romantic town. Property in the area is diverse and in high demand right across the board and many have the holiday rental license in place practically guaranteeing great returns.
