The Francàs beach is located between Coma-ruga and the municipality of Roda de Berà. It has ISO 9001:2015 quality certification and ISO 14001:2015 environmental certification. It is one of the quietest and most peaceful beaches on the Costa Daurada, due to its distance from the city centre and its access through an urban area. This beach has a marine reserve, created in 1999, with a surface area of 457 hectares and a depth of up to 25 metres, with an area of rocks known as "grapissar" and meadows of Posidonia oceanica and Cymodocea nodosa. This reserve can be visited and is one of the main tourist attractions in the area. It should also be noted that the waters of the reserve are naturally enriched by the Font Déu de Brisamar thermal spring, which has a temperature of 19ºC all year round.
