Lloseta is a municipality in the centre of Mallorca situated between Inca and the wine capital of the island of Mallorca, Binissalem. It has a population of around 6.200 inhabitants and is located in the rural heart of the island. The main attraction of Lloseta is the Palace of Ayamans, a private residence with a long history, declared an Asset of Cultural Interest. The village has, among others, several restaurants such as Can Amer which highlights its modern and unique touch to the traditional Malloquian cuisine, inlandhoteles, as well as a train station and a new entrance to the village which gives a direct exit to the village and a better connection to the town of Binissalem and reduces the crowds that occurred in the past. It also has a municipal theatre for music and shows. Lloseta is also well known for its Cardenal: a typical village cake baked in the family bakery Forn des Baix, which was founded in 1850. Beyond the town centre and thanks to its proximity to the Tramuntana mountain range, the municipality is a paradise to discover landscapes and enjoy. Lloseta can be the starting or finishing point for different excursions that can be done on foot, by mountain bike or by road. The most outstanding heights near the village are the mountain of s'Alcadena, the castle of Alaró and the mountain of San Miguel. This small inland village is about 35 minutes away from the airport and the city centre of Palma, as well as the nearest beaches
