L'Aljorf is an ancient Moorish plantation rebuilt in the 17th century within the municipality of Albaida in the Valle de Albaida region of the Valencian Community, Spain. On November 6, 1888, the municipality of l'Aljorf agreed to annex itself to Albaida. Albaida is located in the Vall d'Albaida region, south of the province of Valencia in the Valencian Community. Its 36 km² area borders the municipalities of Aielo de Malferit, l'Olleria, Bufali, El Palomar, Atzeneta d'Albaida, Muro, Agres, Benissoda, and Agullent. Albaida boasts an excellent network of roads and railways that allow for easy access and perfect communication. The main roadways are the N-340 and the A-7, providing quick access from the major capitals. Train access is available through the RENFE commuter service on the Valencia Norte-Xàtiva-Alcoy route. There are also regular bus lines that daily run the Alcoy-Valencia and Gandia-Ontinyent routes.
