YesIf you are looking for a quiet place, don't think twice and decide on La Mora, it has a natural park that has been declared an area of natural interest. Undoubtedly, it is one of the few areas of the Costa Dorada that remains unaffected by the transformations derived from tourist and industrial activities. You will enjoy quiet beaches, crystal clear waters and not very crowded, being that to get to them you have to take a walk through the pines. Another of the great attractions of the area are the various fortifications and the Tamarit Castle, one of the most beautiful castles that are still preserved in the country, and which gives a stately touch to the rest of the park. To explore this marvelous paradise on foot, you have to start from Platja Llarga and cross some cliffs, where it is possible to appreciate the remains of what apparently was a Roman quarry, and then go uphill through the forest through a path. In this way, we find the beach of Cala Fonda, which rises from the heights, whose access is quite complicated, so that tranquility is assured. It is followed by Roca Plana, also somewhat remote and rarely visited. From here, returning to the path between pine trees, you can ascend to the Torre de la Mora, a circular watchtower dating from the 16th century. To leave the area, you will have to go around a fenced campsite and cross the national road to visit the magnificent Roman quarries of Mèdol, which are full of pits, limestone pits and lush vegetation.
