Spectacular apartment of 263m2 with an interior courtyard of 42m2, located in an estate of the year 1910, which was completely refurbished in 2008. The result of the reform is extraordinary, thanks to the materials used and the finished care. The floors of natural dark wood give warmth and character to the flat. The wooden marquetry, interior windows and original ceilings have been delicately restored. The rooms are spacious and quiet, with 4m high ceilings. As we enter, we find the day area to the left: an interior as well as exterior lounge, dining room and office overlooking the pleasant garden courtyard and greenhouse. The kitchen is modern and functional, with an excellent layout. It is functional and ideal for the enjoyment of gastronomy lovers. Furthermore, two entrances with sliding doors can be found that allow to isolate the kitchen area from the rest of the set, if desired. On the right, the night area can be found with its two elegant master suites with an entrance hall, bathroom, dressing room as well as large windows with a balcony facing the unique street Nou de la Rambla. The house has central air conditioning that allows you to acclimatize it in its entirety or certain areas only. It also offers built-in wardrobe corridors, tall cupboards and a laundry room for the total comfort of this home's inhabitants. Ideal for those who wish to have an oasis without lacking the advantages of living in the city centre.

The flat is located in the historical street "Nou de la Rambla", which was once known as the street "Conde del Asalto", in honor of this nobleman. It was the first straight street in Barcelona built between 1783 and 1788, when it was decided to connect the Rambla with the Terra Wall -the beginning of the current Paral.lel - because of the expansion of the city. The project was commissioned to a military engineer and was thought of as a wide street, equipped with services that had been used very little until then: a drainage system as well as cobbled floor. In the early days, noble buildings were built here that were up to four storeys high and with very elegant sgraffite walls, of which some facades are still preserved. Thus, we can find numerous historical buildings: the Palau Güell built by Antonio Gaudí; the Eden Concert, a well-known music hall in the city that inspired Pablo Picasso for his painting "Lady in Eden Concert"; the Doctor's home Pere Santaló i Castellví (a close friend of Gaudí); the House Emilia - the current Hotel Gaudí-; the remains of the Roca Museum with its anatomical curiosities; as well as the the Hotel Onix Liceo, where we can appreciate decorations in the Mozarabic style and neoclassical details of the original building from the 19th century.
