Price
€695,000
This charming and historic house was renovated with care and has its own mill. It is centrally located on a quiet road, not far from the restaurants and bars of the village. The owner has preserved many authentic features which underline the property’s natural beauty. An open plan design has been thought through and the house is distributed over two levels, keeping the original charme and warmth. On the ground floor one finds an open plan kitchen, separate living room and two bedrooms. The upper floor offers a bedroom and different outbuildings of the restored mill. The mill provides a warm feeling and cozy atmosphere. The roof of the mill is a fantastic feature, offering space and nice views, to enjoy the sunshine as well as quality time with friends and family whilst having a BBQ or coffee. Additionally, there is a lovely patio on the ground floor with some green area to escape the heat and unwind with a book. The small and unique municipality of Costitx, located in the heart of Mallorca, has only about 1,300 inhabitants and is the ideal place for those who are looking for peace and quiet and to immerse themselves in the essence of Majorcan culture. Every year, on the first day of May, the "Fira de les Flors" is held, which is well known all over the island and fills all the streets with flowers of all colours, where you can also find several stalls selling handicrafts and typical Majorcan products. Costitx does not offer many bars and restaurants as it is a very quiet village. We recommend the bars in the square S'Espanyol and Bar Central, both of which specialise in snacks and sandwiches. The village stands out for being the municipality with the highest number of archaeological sites per square metre, of which we must highlight the sanctuary of Son Corró which gives us information about the lifestyle of the population from prehistoric times to the Roman period. It is about 10 minutes from the city of Inca, where we can find a wide range of services of all kinds. It is about 30 minutes from the airport, the centre of Palma and the beaches.
