Olèrdola is a municipality in the Alt Penedès region, comprising the population centers of Moja, Sant Miquel d’Olèrdola, Can Trabal, Daltmar, Sant Pere de Molanta, and Vilallops. Its capital, Sant Miquel d'Olèrdola, is located 54 kilometers from Barcelona. The municipal area is crossed by the Mediterranean Highway (AP-7), the national road N-340 at km 1215, the regional highway C-15 (Vilafranca del Penedès-Vilanova i la Geltrú), and local roads that provide communication with Avinyonet, Olivella, and Vilafranca del Penedès. Within its municipal territory is the Olèrdola Regional Park, covering 409 hectares, and part of the Network of Natural Parks of the Barcelona Provincial Council. The territory is mountainous, especially in the southern part, which extends along the western slopes of the Garraf Massif, reaching 465 meters at the Àliga Mountain, on the boundary between the areas of Olèrdola and Canyelles. The Papiol Mountain (383 meters), near the limit with Avinyonet, is also significant.
