Oil heating, Heat pumpSaifores is a neighbourhood belonging to the municipality of Banyeres del Penedès in the province of Tarragona, located in the extreme southwest of the municipality, in the middle of the Baix Penedès region, with 68 inhabitants. Much of the area's economy is based on agriculture, especially vines, olive and almond trees. The first written record of Saifores dates from 1152 and another document from the first half of the 12th century speaks of a character called Saifores. Another document dated 1414 speaks of the Chapel of Sant Pere de Saifores. The town has a typically Mediterranean climate, being on top of a hill, it has a small difference in temperature with the surrounding villages thanks to the sea and the mistral wind, which blows through the neck of Santa Cristina, in the Montmell mountain range.
