The village has about 2000 inhabitants and is home to a few small restaurants, an assisted living center, a private maternity clinic and all the main shops for basic needs such as a pharmacy. The weekly market is held every Tuesday and offers additional shopping opportunities. Beniarbeig is also in close proximity to all major amenities. Just 5 minutes away is the shopping center with its cinema and a wide range of shops, right next to the A-7 motorway which connects us to Valencia and Alicante airports, both about an hour away. The large hospital in the area is 8 minutes away. Dénia and Jávea, with their tourist attractions, beaches, excellent restaurants, active nightlife and everything a Mediterranean city has to offer, are only 10 minutes away by car. Nevertheless, Beniarbeig is very quiet with access to the valley, possibilities for hiking, cycling, excursions in the surroundings such as the famous "Barranc d'infern" with its 6,800 stone steps, which is only 10 minutes inland.
