Sencelles is a municipality in the centre of Mallorca and consists of several urban centres such as Biniali, and the "llogarets" of Ruberts, Jornets, Judi, and Cascanar Laiar, which have a special charm for those who admire rural and peaceful life. It has more than 3,500 inhabitants and holds its weekly market on Wednesdays in the Plaça Nova, and on Saturday mornings in the Plaça de la Vila.
